CLAHRC EoE Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Research Development Workshop 3rd March 2015

The PPI theme of CLAHRC East of England recently organised a workshop to bring people interested in PPI research together to present and discuss new research ideas. 

Attendees included service users, academics, PPI leads and PPI representatives  from across the East of England region.

Shifting the balance? Perspectives on the relationships between qualitative research and participation

This advanced symposium, organised by the UEA qualitative research forum, will aim to address two key questions in this area:

  • What is participation in qualitative research?
  • What kind of knowledge does participatory research produce?

The sessions will showcase and critically examine exemplars of participation in qualitative research projects undertaken at UEA and by other qualitative research groups in the East.

Public Engagement Masterclass – Applications invited

This Wellcome Trust Masterclass will address the wider societal context of public engagement with research and discuss how to engage and partner with different communities.
