London
The future of the NHS, improving the quality and access to health services and supporting a healthier population all depend on a radical upgrade in prevention and public health strategies. The NHS Prevention Programme Board, which was established in January 2015, has made a strong start in getting serious about prevention.
The NHS Five Year Plan: Responding to the Prevention Challenge conference will explore how to make the NHS sustainable by incentivising and supporting healthier lifestyles. A key element at the heart of the 5YFV is prevention of long term conditions and promotion of good health and well-being.
