Research with Patient and Public Involvement: The RAPPORT study published

The RAPPORT research team are delighted announce that the report “ReseArch with Patient and Public invOlvement: a RealisT evaluation – the RAPPORT study” has been published in the Health Services and Delivery Research journal on the NIHR Journals Library website. The study set out to find evidence showing whether or not Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) really makes a difference in research and, if so, what works and what situations help to create good PPI.

Public Health Practice Evaluation Scheme – open to applications

Deadline: midday on 2 October 2015

Applications are now invited to a further round of the Public Health Practice Evaluation Scheme (PHPES). PHPES is run by the national School for Public Health Research (SPHR), in collaboration with Public Health England. The scheme is designed to enable public health practitioners to work with SPHR researchers to produce robust evaluations of their innovative local projects or initiatives.

Prioritisation Group deadline: 28 September

The Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care East of England (CLAHRC EoE) Prioritisation Group is pleased to welcome applications for the next round of funding. Proposals for funding must be submitted via our Research Theme Leads.

The deadlines for project proposals are as follows

September 28th 2015: Deadline for submitting proposals to Prioritisation Group for review
During October to December 2015: Decisions will be made and theme leads informed
April 1st 2016: Projects to begin
