Congratulations to the PROMISE project team for their National Patient Experience Award

We are very pleased to share the news that a CLAHRC EoE funded project 'PROactive Management of Integrated Services and Environments (PROMISE)'  was selected as the winner of the highly competitive ‘Strengthening the Foundations’ category at Patient Experience Network National Awards (PENNA). 

Study leads Dr Manaan Kar-Ray (Consultant Psychiatrist) and Sarah Rae (PPI representative) accepted the ward for the project, which is being run in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

Translational research at the NIHR Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre  – Lecture

Professor John Bradley (R&D Director, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) will be talking about the NIHR Cambridge BRC and the impact of research carried out at the centre. He will also discuss the importance of public participation for research and how everyone can make a difference by taking part.

NIHR CLAHRC South London have organised this 2-day course for health professionals, researchers, patients and service users who want to make sure health services routinely offer treatment and care that is based on the most recent research evidence. It will include lectures from world-renowned experts in the field plus guidance to help participants work more effectively on their own implementation projects.
