An Introduction to ‘R’: free software for statistical analysis

13 October 2016

This course aims to introduce R as a tool for statistics and graphics, with the main aim being to become comfortable with the R environment. It will focus on entering and manipulating data in R and producing simple graphs.

An Introduction to Statistical Concepts and Reasoning

19 October 2016

This course will introduce fundamental statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing and confidence intervals and cover principles of common statistical methods in medical research. The aim is to help medical researchers understand the concepts underlying the statistical methodology used in published medical research.
