Six New Early Career Research Fellow Posts 

The University of Hertfordshire is offering six new early career Research Fellow posts, which focus on original, high-quality applied research. The areas of research include: 

  • Supporting People Living with Dementia and their Carers
  • Food and Public Health across the Life Course

Seven Steps Guide towards a Mentally Healthy Organisation


This recently launched guide from the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Mental Health, aims to help individuals to build the case for tackling mental illness in the workplace. It has been produced by experts from business, academia and mental health including our very own Dr Tine Van Bortel (CLAHRC EoE Senior Research Associate) who has expertise in Global Public Health.

Safe and effective medicines: Informatics for best practice

The medicines optimisation framework, in accordance with  the ‘personalised care’ IT strategy for the NHS, aims to have a positive influence on patient engagement and medication compliance. This conference will explore the framework, and the highlight the opportunities and challenges it brings.

We are inviting organisations to host a stand in the Market Place of our annual Summer event on the 21 June 2016, in Cambourne (Cambridgeshire). 
The event will be be open to all researchers and professionals from across health and social care, industry and third sector organisations. It provides a great opportunity to network and hear the latest about our research.
