We've just been appointed dealer of the well-performing aircraft oil supplement, Camguard.

ASL Camguard™ is an advanced oil supplement, F.A.A. accepted for use in most piston aircraft engines. Camguard is formulated to

safeguard the investment in your aircraft engine by addressing the complex and interrelated problems of corrosion, carbon deposits

and mechanical wear.

Camguard combats corrosion by leaving a continuous film of inhibitor on metal surfaces. Camguard halts
deposit formation, leaving your engine clean and parts free to move.

So whether you fly a little or a lot, Camguard always pays dividends with decreased aircraft engine maintenance costs.

Just adding
5% of ASL Camguard to your oil at every oil change provides piece of mind that comes with knowing your investment is protected.

Buy it at our facilities in both Denmark and Norway.

"... okay, I might just pull the chute...." (on the radio).

See the moving and super informative video from Cirrus Aircraft about the guy that decided to pull the chute (CAPS).

At Eggemoen, we are performing composit repairs. At the moment, a set of Pipistrel wings are being repaired after damage. The repairs are being carried out in cooperation with the manufacturer.

The growning fleet of Rotax engined aircraft can have maintenance done at both our facilities. Normal maintenance, carburetor inspection, replacement of starter clutch and much more.

Just a small reminder in case you forgot or didn't know...

Torben Biehl Jensen, our Business Development Director (and Technician), holds an American FAA A&P certificate for N-reg. aircraft. FAA A&P certificated mechanics may perform or supervise the maintenance and perform preventive maintenance or alteration of an N-registered aircraft or appliance.

Daily FAA A&P service is available at Air Service Eggemoen.

Cirrus CAPS Center in Norway

As you may very well know, Cirrus’ popular SR20 and SR22 aircraft are known all over the world for their revolutionary safety system that may be released by the pilot in case of emergency or safety landing. The system, Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (abbreviated CAPS), has proven life saving in numerous situations so far.

We're happy to announce that as of November 2015 we're an official Cirrus CAPS Center in Norway. The approval allows us to perform the CAPS system replacement that is required in a Cirrus aircraft every 10 years. Performing the replacement requires both additional education and special approvals since the workshop must both store and handle rocket fuel as well as see to that old rocket fuel is destroyed.

The CAPS capability has only been available three places in Europe so far, so the new capability at our facilities in Norway is quite the catch. From now on, Cirrus owners in Northern Europe will save both time and money when using our workshop at Eggemoen when their aircraft is due for CAPS replacement - not least due to much shorter ferry flights.
NB! The fact that we are now both Cirrus Service Center and CAPS Center allows us to perform all sorts of maintenance and inspections as well as composite repairs related to Cirrus aircraft. To both owners and technicians it is a lot easier and less time consuming - and thus less expensive - to perform a CAPS replacement at the same time as e.g. an annual inspection.
