Trail Town Certified Network Rack Cards!

This past month the Trail Town Program® has released rack cards promoting Trail Town Certified Network members. The rack cards will link trail users to our website where over 100 members are listed. This September with the launch of the new and improved Trail Town Program® website the Certified Network will have its own page promoting the network and its members. Funding for this project was possible through the Laural Highlands Tourism Grants of Fayette, Somerset, and Westmoreland counties.
The Laurels Highlands Conservation Landscape and the Trail Town Program® are planning a Regional Trail Workshop for Fall of 2016. Please take our brief survey that will help us plan a program that will be most beneficial to you and your organization.
In recent months, the Rail-Trail Sojourns visited multiple trails including the Sheepskin Trail.  Learn more about how this special event brought 300 visitors to Dunbar and made a lasting impression.
On June 22, 2015 the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy announced the protections of 48 acres along the Casselman River along 66 miles of the Great Allegheny Passage. Learn more about the protected land here.
