Transmosis Accepts Bay Area Applicants for First Cyber Security Apprenticeship Program


SAN JOSE, Ca. – Transmosis Corp. will open a new Cyber Security apprentice training program leading to full-time STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) employment in January, 2017, in San Jose, California. The program is funded from a grant through the Chancellor’s Office of the CA Community College System. Tuition for the training valued at $10,000 for accepted applicants is waived. Transmosis will operate the program as the Workforce Intermediary, the first of its kind in the nation.

Timothy Kelley of Grand Canyon University and Chase Norlin of Transmosis Join Invest Southwest Board of Directors


PHOENIX (September 12, 2016) – Timothy Kelley, Founder and Chair of Canyon Angels and Head of Entrepreneurship at Grand Canyon University, and Chase Norlin, CEO of Transmosis, were recently selected to join the Board of Directors for Invest Southwest, a non-profit focused on connecting accredited investors with the region’s most promising early-stage firms.

Government Workers Now Outnumber Manufacturing Workers by 9,977,000

(CNSNews.com) – The United States lost 9,000 manufacturing jobs in October while gaining 19,000 jobs in government, according to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Government employment grew from 22,216,000 in September to 22,235,000 in October, according to BLS, while manufacturing jobs dropped from 12,267,000 to 12,258,000.

President Trump and Fuller Employment

During the campaign, President Trump put forward several ideas for large-scale job creation/training initiatives. Each of these ideas should call forth far more discussion in the next few months, for each can hold promise if undertaken effectively. Further, in a type of Nixon-to-China dynamic, it may be that Trump is able to carry them out in a way that other politicians, especially on the left, could not.
