Fall 2022

We blinked and now it's Fall!

The days are getting shorter - in more ways than one!

Many people we speak with seem to say the same thing... "I'm just so busy!"

The reasons are many. Lack of staffing, projects that were stalled during COVID have resurfaced and new business opportunities that have been created because of the pandemic. Add to the mix more in-person meetings, travel time, and more social obligations (both personal and professional). Factor in time for kids, school, and volunteer work - it's hard to squeeze it all in!

One of the trendy solutions to being overly busy is "Quiet Quitting". Although it sounds tempting it's impossible if you're a business owner.

In fact, when you're busy, it is a good time to review your marketing to ensure it is relevant. If you are short on time, CA14 can help alleviate some of your marketing workload with a seasonal update or, if required, a complete brand refresh.

The Team at CA14

With COVID restrictions lifting across North America and Europe, Trade Shows are back! CA14 can help with your trade show marketing materials. Pull up banners, catalogues, website refresh, business cards, and print material, and more.

We can ensure that your staff have the skills needed to make the most of your trade show investment. Staffing an exhibit at a trade show or conference is an effective and efficient way to deliver a consistent message directly to audiences with display graphics and promotional material. However, staffing the booth with trained people is a challenge for most companies. We have the experience and skills to provide training for employees on how to get leads, qualify leads and interact with the public for the best outcomes.

Grant offers tips for trade shows in a recent article on our blog page.

After almost two years of volunteer work and collaboration, CA14 Productions screened the film in its pre-release, rough cut form at the beautiful John Elliott Theatre in Georgetown on October 8 for an audience of musicians, fans, sponsors, donors and friends. The reaction was genuine and the Q&A afterwards was very engaging and insightful.

Our first goal of capturing the essence of a blues venue, The Juke Joint in Acton, as it represents other such stages, both historical and contemporary, and as it supports local and established musicians and their fans, has been achieved.

We are squarely in the final production, marketing and fundraising phases to pursue the objective of reaching as many blues communities like ours as we can to share the love and experience of the blues and its sister genres. Watch for it at film festivals and on the road tour.

To those waiting in line or following, a link to the pre-release will be available soon. Thanks to our intrepid volunteer team and The Juke Joint in Acton. Onwards.

Eric Doubt, Producer; Peter Perko, Director.
