DESK ORGANIZING: Does your desk ever look like a small tornado landed right in the middle of it? Don’t waste valuable time searching through piles for that piece of important paper. As someone who understands the struggle, let me offer some help with today’s Female Success Tip!
I am a pretty organized person. However, there are times when my piles grow and things get out of hand. What do I do when this happens? I stop and take a few minutes to regroup.
So, let’s do this together! Set a timer for 15 minutes, and tame that mess by using my7 Tips for Desk Organizing. You’ll be amazed at how much you can accomplish!
Close any planner or book
Discard trash or half-eaten food
Remove everything and clean the top of your desk
File loose papers – active files on your desk - everything else in a cabinet
Daily - file, discard or place papers in a “to do” file
Put pens, scissors, the stapler, etc. in a drawer
Neatly place necessary items back on your desk
