Empowering Teachers to Serve Youth

Donate to MMSA

MMSA inspires change by connecting and supporting educators across the state and the country to make STEM learning relevant, engaging, and FUN for kids! Every single educator we work with affects dozens, if not hundreds of kids each year. Just think about the kind of impact we’ll have if YOU enter the equation. By supporting MMSA, you will be empowering our young people to discover how they can participate, lead and innovate for a STEM future we can’t even imagine today.

There are many challenges to great experiential STEM education in a rural state like Maine, including geographic isolation, lack of access to high quality professional learning and limited funding opportunities. These challenges present an opportunity for innovative solutions and through MMSA’s leadership, Maine has become a national leader in STEM education.

Our Programs Have Reached 35 States
Over our 27-year history, we’ve brought millions of federal dollars in support of research in STEM education. This funding helps us understand how to CREATE best practice and with additional funding we can take that best practice and PUT IT INTO ACTION across Maine and the rest of the country.

Whether you are an educator who wants to increase equitable access to high quality STEM professional learning, a parent or grandparent who wants the best possible inspiring STEM learning experiences for their kids both in and out of the classroom or a business owner who is feeling the pinch of not being able to find qualified employees to fill the STEM jobs you have open, MMSA’s work will impact what you care about.

Please help us reach our goal of raising $20,000 by Dec 31st by donating online today.  A donation to MMSA now is an investment in our future. Your generosity will make a difference in our communities by allowing us to continue our work in STEM education, focusing on problem solving, argumentation with evidence, and data-driven decision making. These key skills are essential to our K-12 youth so they can become the innovators, leaders, and STEM workforce of tomorrow.
Many thanks for your generosity!
