With Bishoy Wasef

Bishoy started with Champions in August as one of our accountants.

This month we get know Bishoy a little better.

Can you tell us a bit about your role at Champions?

The overarching objective in my new role is to add value to a diverse range of clients, as well as assisting them in the stresses involved in the day to day running of their businesses.  Also, my role entails me to assist those around me with the complex world of accounting and tax through answering questions, training them and even going through jobs with them if need be.

How would you describe Champion's as a firm?

I would not describe Champions as a firm but more like a dynamic family as every person in this “family” provides a different skill set which can help those around them.  Also, the staff at Champions are very supportive from the moment I began here I have felt right at home, everyone is understanding, supportive and always willing to give a helping hand.  Additionally, Champions is full of technical people who could help me evolve myself as a real professional.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Well if I am not at the gym trying to get them gains, you will catch me playing sports like soccer and basketball to try to stay fit. Also, I like going on random adventures no matter the time so usually me and a few mates would go hiking or bush walks. But, my favourite thing to do in my spare time is eating food especially burgers and pizzas, as well as spending time with my family.

What is the last book that you have read?

Hmmm good question I believe it would have been Money: Master the Game by Tony Robbins. This book has helped me become more ambitious, assisted me to become a better saver and helped me with my investment decisions. I really recommend this book to everyone who wants to become successful in their life.

What is your favourite movie?

I don't think I have a specific movie which is my favourite however any movie with actors such as Denzel Washington or Will Smith I really enjoy watching.

Where is your favourite holiday destination?

I am very into history and arts so I would say Rome or Italy would be my favourite holiday destination. However, I would like to go to Egypt again and visit all the tourist place as there is a lot of beautiful places in Egypt which I want to explore.

If you were stranded on a deserted island what is the one thing you could not do without?

Probably a copy of Bear Grylls book so I can ensure I have the basics to survive and maybe a companion like a dog so I don't get lonely.
