With Jack Donoghue

Jack started with Champion's in January as one of our cadets.

This month we get to know Jack a little better.

Can you tell us a bit about your role at Champions?

As a cadet accountant, I do a lot of ad hoc tasks, such as setting up work papers for other accountants, saving MYOB files, and usually any other general tasks that help out the admin team. After training and a couple of months on the job, I’m doing a lot of individual tax returns, and am transitioning into doing some basic company tax returns.

How would you describe Champion's as a firm?

A small-medium firm with a great support and social network, with friendly and intelligent staff who are always willing to help.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I enjoy going to the gym, going out on the weekends and listening to music.

What is the last book that you have read?

I honestly can not remember! It would have probably been something assigned to me in English in High School.

What is your favourite movie?

Fight Club!

Where is your favourite holiday destination?

The Phillipines as I have alot of family over there.

If you were stranded on a deserted island what is the one thing you could not do without?

Besides food??  Probably my mobile phone!
