Happy Spring! We have so many exciting events ahead of us brought to us by both our finance and community committees. We are looking forward to the Beer and Wine Tasting Fundraiser on April 6th as well as our Book Drive on April 13th. See our Community and Finance sections to learn more about all their hard work.

Information about our Annual Meeting in May will be coming out shortly. We will be sending out Save the Dates again this year and we look forward to seeing you all there!

In January, we had five volunteers who helped sort through clothes for the semi-annual Dress For Success tag sale. Combined they sorted for almost 20 hours!
In February, there were seven volunteers who got together to help serve dinner to the Ronald McDonald House guests. They cooked a delicious stuffed shells meal, complete with salads and dessert and also made crafts with some of the children.
Up next, we have a book drive in partnership with the Reader to Reader organization out of Amherst. The book drive will take place on April 13th from 9:30-12pm at WRSI Radio parking lot (15 Hampton Ave., Northampton). We hope to collect enough books to help us through the busy summer months and also add new Little Red Bookshelf locations.

We are so excited to welcome back our member Jessica McArdle as she has moved back from Georgia! Earlier this month JLGS members and friends enjoyed a Trivia Night at Bentley's in East Longmeadow.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates about our diaper drive. Last year JLGS collected over 6,000 diapers for the children and families that benefit from Square One's programs.

The Fifth Annual Beer & Wine Tasting is fast approaching! Please join us at The Wherehouse (109 Lyman St Holyoke) on April 6th raise money for our scholarship fund. The event will include raffles, music by Berkshire Hills Music Academy, food, drinks, and a whole lot of fun! Tickets are $35 and can be purchased from Jlgs.org or at the door.
We raised $532 from our SOLD OUT Board and Brush fundraiser on March 8th! Thank you to everyone who came and had a great time with us!
SCRIP cards- online orders can be made at glscrip.com. The enrollment code to use is DCA6685B1L419. If you want a physical gift card, I will do one more shipment of them. Those orders must be in by MAY 1st. Scrip Card Now (digital gift cards) can be available within 24-48 hours. Please email Jlgs.finance@gmail.com with any questions.
