Hello, it's Ruishan and Monica!

*** We received feedback that the poll and December 16th link didn't work previously so we re-sent the newsletter. Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate it! ***

This is our 11th newsletter related to the manufacturing sector in the San Diego-Imperial Region. Monica and I wrapped up our October (#ManufacturingMonth) weekly employer series! Next, we will resume our Skilled Trades Discussion Forum in December. Scroll for more information. As always, our goal is to improve student’s success in the labor market through educator engagement where we will aim to update, expand, and align K-16 career educational pathways. Here, you'll find news, resources for distance learning, best practices, upcoming events, industry-related virtual panels or tours, and job opportunities for your students!
 What happened in October?

We’re using Cabrillo College's server farm (called Netlab) for our virtual machines (thanks Cabrillo!). This will be free for your school to use. Regional Director from The Bay Area, Mark Martin, is also developing Amazon Web Services as a backup, if needed.
