SeaSpine, a biomedical company located in Carlsbad, CA is looking for a Machine Shop Technician. They are looking for an entry-level person who can assist in the day-to-day Machine shop processes, mainly focusing on supporting their 3D printing machines and post-machining processes.


High school (with work experience) and college students are welcomed to apply.

Our colleague who is the Regional Director for Employer Engagement in Advanced Transportation and Logistics invites K-14 educators to the Advanced Transportation & Logistics Sector Discussion Forum happening tomorrow Wednesday, May 26th from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Pacific time.
 

 
Join to learn from industry professionals in the field about what knowledge, skills and abilities are needed for students’ to enter the Supply Chain & Logistics (SC&L) workforce. Because this sector spans over many professions, we invite K-14 educators who teach courses and programs related to transportation, business/international business, manufacturing and information communications technologies (ICT) and anyone interested in learning more about Supply Chain & Logistics labor market.
 
Both of us are honored to be chair and co-chair to the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Chapter 44 this year. Our 5th chapter meeting is this Saturday at 9:00AM PST. We would love for you to join us as you will meet manufacturing industry partners in our region.

Autodesk is hosting the upcoming 2021 EDU CAM Summit from June 15-16, 2021 Please save the date and join for informative presentations, panel discussions, and live machine shop demonstrations. Attendees will hear from leading faculty and industry experts to learn how they are forging the way in academia to align with Industry 4.0. Below is a sneak peek at some of the speakers and topics.

CADENCE GRANT

CADENCE grant from the California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR) to support California’s defense innovation and manufacturing ecosystem through small business development. Funding comes from the DoD Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program that is designed to strengthen the national security innovation base, and California is one of six Defense Manufacturing Communities across the nation.
