It shows how financial services can play an important role in supporting social solidarity and building community resilience, demonstrating demand for these services when linked with cash transfers.

Expression of Interest: Operational Readiness Training Program for Major Disease Outbreak Response
Deadline: July 12, 2022


A group of masked people in a courtyard standing in front of hygiene kits and PPE in Kenya.READY is launching the next cohort of its successful Operational Readiness Training Program for Major Disease Outbreak Response, a collaborative training program for small international NGOs or large national NGOs. Over the course of several months, participating organizations will strengthen their operational capacity to respond to current and future major disease outbreaks in humanitarian settings through a blended and co-designed learning approach.

The training program will take place between October 2022 and February 2023. Specific training dates will be determined following the selection process. For more details visit READY's website, please contact ready@savechildren.org with questions.

Request for Proposals: Learning from Water Security and Resilience Activities in the Sahel
Deadline: July 6, 2022
PRO-WASH, in collaboration with TerresEauVie, is seeking a vendor to collaborate on knowledge gathering and research in ground-water-dependent catchments in drylands regions of Burkina Faso and Niger. The aim is to capture lessons learned on groundwater, water security, water governance, and water resilience, and generate and disseminate findings and recommendations to share with current and future programs. Partnership Opportunity: WASH Partnerships and Learning for Sustainability (WASHPaLS) #2 : Hygienic Behaviors and Environments
Within the theme of hygienic environments and social and behavior change, and working in collaboration with local implementing partners, USAID WASHPaLS #2 will conduct research on improving the hygienic environment, nudging handwashing behaviors in the home setting, and improving food hygiene. WASHPaLS #2 will provide funding for and lead research activities, while implementing partners will fund and support the interventions.
