Cash and Voucher Assistance for Gender-based Violence Outcomes in the MENA Region
Women's Refugee Commission and CARE | October 13 | 6:30 - 10:00 AM ET | Online

Convened by Women's Refugee Commission (WRC) and CARE, this online workshop for Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) and Gender-based Violence (GBV) stakeholders will focus on CVA for GBV outcomes within and outside of GBV case management in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region. This workshop is part of a larger series that supports familiarity with global guidance and tools; sharing of lessons learned; strengthening referral pathways; and de-siloing CVA and GBV coordination to further CVA for gender and GBV outcomes in humanitarian settings.

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) recently announced the external comment period for the draft “Collecting Feedback from Beneficiaries of Development Programs: A Guide for USAID Implementing Partners.” USAID is inviting interested persons, particularly implementing partners and other development stakeholders, to review and provide feedback on this draft guidance document. Comments are accepted until October 12, 2022 at 5:00 PM ET, contact IndustryLiaison@usaid.gov with the subject “Comments on Beneficiary Feedback Guidance”.

Updated BHA Emergency Application Guidelines

USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) has published new Emergency Application Guidelines on the BHA Emergency Application Guidelines webpage along with a Summary of Changes. The revised Guidelines will take effect on October 1, 2022, for all NGO applications for non-competitive emergency awards and modifications. Please send questions or feedback to BHA.Guidelines@usaid.gov.
