Draft Request for Applications: Resilience Food Security Activity in Haiti


Photo of woman farming in the PhillipinesThe Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) has released the draft Fiscal Year 2022 Request for Applications (RFA) for a Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA) in Haiti for review and comment. BHA is not requesting the submission of applications at this moment. All background and programmatic information for this solicitation can be found directly within the RFA and included attachments.

All comments and inquiries should be directed to FY21.RFSA.RFA.Haiti@usaid.gov. Comments on the draft FY 2022 RFSA RFA for Haiti are due on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at noon (Eastern Standard Time).

Request for Applications: Qualitative Monitoring and Evaluation Program Improvement Award


Photo of a man with camelsIDEAL is inviting organizations engaged in emergency and non-emergency food and nutrition security activities to apply for a Qualitative Monitoring and Evaluation Program Improvement Award. This Request for Applications is soliciting applications that strengthen the capacity of USAID Title II implementers to incorporate qualitative analysis into monitoring and evaluation. For each grant, IDEAL will award no more than $100,000 US dollars for up to 12 months of implementation.

Questions on this RFA may be submitted in writing to IDEAL_PIA@savechildren.org before Friday, February 5, 2021, 5 PM ET. Submissions are due by 5 PM ET on Friday, March 5, 2021.

Building Resilience through Self Help Groups: Evidence Review


resource thumbnailThis report synthesizes the state of knowledge on the linkages between psychosocial factors and resilience through the lens of Self Help Groups (SHGs).

The objective of the report is two-fold. First, it seeks to provide practitioners and researchers with a better understanding of what is already known about how psychosocial factors contribute to resilience through SHGs. Second, in synthesizing the state of knowledge on this topic, it highlights the gaps in the current evidence base to inform a learning agenda.

Request for Applications (RFA): Pathogens Pathway Study for Children under two years old in Northwestern Kenya | Deadline: February 5, 2021
PRO-WASH is calling on the WASH community to develop affordable, sustainable solutions to meet the WASH needs of the vulnerable populations assisted by USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) programming. This request for applications is designed to provide research on strategies for interrupting fecal-oral transmission and reduce overall environmental contamination for the Nawiri (Mercy Corps) Resilience Food Security Activity in Northwestern Kenya.
