Stakeholder Briefing: Draft FY22 Request for Applications for Haiti RFSA

Photo of woman farming in the PhillipinesUSAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) will host a virtual stakeholder briefing on the Draft FY22 Request for Applications (RFA) for the Haiti Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA) on February 22, 2021, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Virtual attendance should be limited to no more than four people per organization. Participants must RSVP for this briefing by 11:59 PM on February 18, 2021, by entering their name, organization, and email into this form.

Request for Proposals: Mid-Term Evaluation of the IDEAL Activity

Photo of a man with camelsIDEAL has entered the third year of its five-year period of performance and is requesting quotations from evaluation consultant(s) to conduct a mid-term evaluation. 

The evaluation will be conducted from April to September 2021. Applicants must submit their CV(s) and a cost quotation, including a breakdown of the expected level of effort (LOE) and cost per deliverable listed in the Scope of Work (SOW). Applicants will be selected based on experience with similar evaluations, cost, and availability.

IDEAL is soliciting applications that strengthen the capacity of USAID Title II implementers to incorporate qualitative analysis into monitoring and evaluation. Applications will support the development, testing, packaging, and sharing of processes, systems, and tools to improve qualitative data collection, analysis, and utilization in support of USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance strategy and policy. 

Call for Research and Case Studies of Small-Space Food Security InnovationsDeadline: March 5, 2021
Funded through IDEAL's Small Grants Program, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Warc Africa (Warc) are currently conducting a literature review of small-space food security solutions such as kitchen gardening, low tunnels, and greenhouses in countries across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia—with a focus on mobile and transportable technologies— to include in programming. IDEAL encourages you to submit any relevant reports, research, and findings to Tara Clerkin by March 5, 2021.
