Dear <<First Name>>.
And so the first month of 2019 is about to surrender to the second one...
Our Theme for February is: THE COMMON GOOD. We will use the 10 Principles of Spirituality in Action to guide us through our talks this month, seeking ways in which we can serve humanity and our planet with everything in and on it, to make this world better place for all of creation.
This first Sunday - is our Friendship Sunday - so bring a friend and food to share and join us for fellowship after our Celebration in our Social Hall and Classroom building (the one closest to Maple street).
The second Sunday of February is an important one for our Center as we have our Annual Membership meeting immediately following our Celebration in our Sanctuary building. We will review 2018 and set out with new elections for our CORE Council for a prosperous, abundant, and joy-filled 2019!
At the end of the month - on Sunday February 24th we will have our Community First Home Group Tasting event! This is a wonderful opportunity to experience first-hand what a Home Group meeting is all about as a way of creating a sense of belonging and of being outrageously cared for.
If you haven't already signed up for our retreat at the Avila Retreat Center for May 2019, please consider joining us for a wonderful time of togetherness and solitude, companionship, and silence... We have started out 10-week "Practical Mysticism" class, based on the book "Entering the Castle" by Caroline Myss, and anyone interested can still join us - it's not too late to catch up and embark on this powerful journey inward to being with and as the Divine. Email here for more information!
The Institute of Noetic Sciences' "Conscious Aging" workshop series will start this month under the spirited facilitation of Rev. David Grinstead - join us!
So - as always - an exciting month awaits - join us on our continued journey into a greater Whole!
