We are proud to present and celebrate the program of the Oslo Architecture Triennale 2016: After Belonging. The Triennale’s chief curators will present the result of their two-year endeavor of research and conceptualization for the Triennale’s Core Program. They will also introduce the Triennale’s Extended Program, which dissects, reflects upon, and debates a wide range of issues relevant within the framework of After Belonging.

For its public presentation in Venice, the Oslo Architecture Triennale 2016: After Belonging invites a selected group of participants of the Venice Biennale to delve into three photo-reportages that will be on display at the Triennale’s On Residence exhibition (DOGA). Reportages will include Norwegian enclaves for retirees in Spain, domestic architectures of Kharian "Little Norway" in Pakistan, and housing for oil industry workers in Mongstad, Norway. Curated by David Basulto and James Taylor-Foster, curators of The Nordic Pavilion, La Biennale di Venezia 2016 with the After Belonging Agency.
LONDON – A FORUM ON ARCTIC NEGOTIATIONS

For its public presentation in London, the Oslo Architecture Triennale 2016: After Belonging invites a group of architects and spatial practitioners to discuss one of the Intervention Strategies to be shown as part of the In Residence Exhibition (National Museum – Architecture) during the Triennale: Nature, Labour, Land: A Public Spatial Archive for Kirkenes. Participants will critically consider the intersection of non-human nature, indigenous rights and transnational labor, three often-neglected actors in the Arctic region around Kirkenes. Curated by Nabil Ahmed and Dámaso Randulfe with the After Belonging Agency.

Vi har gleden av å invitere til den første offentlige presentasjonen av programmet til Oslo arkitekturtriennale 2016: Etter tilhørighet. Triennalens kuratorer skal fortelle om sitt to år lange arbeid med å utforske og konseptualisere det som skal bli triennalens hovedprogram. De vil også gi en presentasjon av triennalens utvidede program, som er kommet til i samarbeid med en lang rekke program- og samarbeidspartnere i Norge og internasjonalt.
VENEZIA, TRE NORSKE AVSPEILINGER
The Nordic Pavilion / La Biennale di Venezia 2016

Tre deltakere, med ulike roller ved arkitekturbiennalen i Venezia, er invitert til å tolke nordisk tilhørighet utifra fotoreportasjer bestilt fra tre steder med tilknytning til Norge: Norske pensjonistenklaver i Spania, midlertidige boenheter for oljearbeidere på Mongstad og boligarkitekturen i Kharian “Lille Norge” Pakistan. Bildeseriene skal også vises i utstillingen On Residence (DOGA) under Oslo arkitekturtriennale fra 8. september. Kurator: David Basulto og James Taylor-Foster, som kuraterer den nordiske paviljongen "In Therapy" ved Veneziabiennalen, i samarbeid med After Belonging Agency.
LONDON – ET FORUM OM ARKTISKE FORHANDLINGER

Deltakerne er invitert til å diskutere ett av prosjektene som er plukket ut til triennalens In Residence-program: Nature, Labour, Land: A Public Spatial Archive for Kirkenes. Prosjektet skal vises i utstillingen In Residence (Nasjonalmuseet – Arkitektur) under Oslo arkitekturtriennale 2016. Kurator Nabil Ahmed og Dámaso Randulfe i samarbeid med After Belonging Agency. Arrangementet er støttet av Architectural Association, British Council og Norges ambassade i London.
