Some good news and Merry Christmas!

Okay – so Merry Christmas to each and every one of you!

As things stand today, things are okay. A tiny bit sore last night after the last bit of shfting and unpacking… and have not long been working my way through a new batch of Chris Forbes fleetlsts as at December 2018. The plan is to update Tony Hunter’s lists from November 2018 to be up to the same date – so when the “minor” operators are done, they will all go up.

Book wise – I’m in proofing stage of a couple of books! Yes really… plan is to a hard copy Dec 18 fleetlist book via Lulu, so as to fill a major gap without one! Also proofing at least one timetable, to be done in my own name! We will see how these go – plan is to do 4-6 book sets a year, if that, depending how fatiquge takes me (I am 40 – also 15 years of Suzy – next year)… This will all be declared as income for UC/PIP purposes (even below thresholds) but this will be only on a micro scale. These will be from me (or online) only. More on this also in the coming months,
Dundee Christmas & New Year

Dundee Christmas and New Year composite bus timetables now available for download - at

n.b. As I type this on Christmas Eve – one last minute change to the advertised plans -XD’s 73B WILL be running Boxing Day/2nd January (always one every year lol) – the files are being updated again later today.

Summary is a brief “at a glance” 12 page guide to the three main bus operators in the City, while the Comprehensive file is a 64 page with times of every Boxing Day/2nd January bus by XD and SES in the city.

Both guides include forthcoming changes in January 2019 by Fishers Tours, National Express and Xplore Dundee, and information on Xplore Dundee’s fare freeze. There will be the first Christmas day service in Dundee for over 20 years as Scottish City link have two buses running a special M9C service from the Bus Station to Perth, Stirling, Glasgow and Aberdeen (No other buses running).

The guide is an almost identical to the one done by ScotBus many years ago, now revived for public benefit and information. This was initially cut down to four pages, but with the level of information now required, you can get either a 12 or 64 page booklet to download! You can get an A4 colour/mono, or A5 mono only, version of each guide.
