IDENTICAL SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES   |   9:00AM & 11:00AM

We offer kid services for ages birth - 5th grade.
From the moment you drop your child off to the moment you pick them up,
they experience safe, age-specific environments designed with them in mind!
We are intentional about forming relationships with your kids and making sure they are engaged in the services to get the most out of each Sunday service.

One of our top priorities is partnering with parents, and we do this by keeping
you informed of what your child is learning about. Please see the
current message series content below and be encouraged
to ask your child about what they have learned each Sunday!

ROCK CITY

Nursery: Birth - 4 years | EARLY CHILDHOOD

Message Series Title: In the Beginning
God is AMAZING! He made the sun in the sky, the animals, and the whole world—they’re all His creations. But do you know what God’s most AMAZING creation is? It’s you and me! God made people to be like Him so we can trust and follow Jesus, and be His special friends!

ROCKVILLE & ROCK NATION

K - 5TH GRADE | ELEMENTARY

Message Series Title: Say Whaaat?!
Jesus challenged the status quo. From the moment He arrived on the scene, He made statement after statement that made people stop in their tracks. The things he said challenged people to live differently. In fact, His statements made all the people around Him stop and say the modern-day equivalent of, “Say Whaaaat?”

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

We are always looking for more leaders to serve alongside us in Rock Kids!
We have serving opportunities available for adults, youth, and Rock Nation kids. Please be in prayer before offering to serve. If you feel called to serve with us, please contact the Rock Kids office.

Serving Opportunities:
Nursery, 1's, 2's & 3's, Rockville, Rock Nation, Worship Team, Tech Team,
Welcome Team, Little Rock Cafe, Wednesday Nights, and Office Support

CONNECT TRACK

SPECIAL ONE DAY CONNECT TRACK | SEPTEMBER 14TH (10AM - 2PM)

We believe you belong here, whether you’ve been a Christian for half an hour or half a decade. If you’re unfamiliar with how church works or what Jesus is all about, we’ve got you covered! Connect is one track with four sessions designed to help you take your next steps at Rock Church. The great thing about Connect is that you don’t have to start with a particular session and can join in at any time. For more information on Connect and to register for our special one day course (9.14), visit our Connections Area during one of our Sunday services or click here.

GIVE

KINGDOM BUILDERS: BOYS & GIRLS MISSIONARY CHALLENGE (BGMC)

Generosity is one of Rock Church's core values. We do our best to instill this value into all of our kids and hope that what they learn about giving while in Rock Kids will sculpt them as they continue to grow. Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) is how Rock Kids gives to missions. We prioritize informing our kids of what they are giving towards, and do this by incorporating giving to BGMC alongside a small teaching of it into every one of our services.

We encourage each kid to have a Buddy Box at home to collect "lost change for lost souls." These can be received in your child's assigned classroom. We believe generosity is best taught when the money is collected by kids through hard work, saving money, and sacrifice. With that being said, we encourage all of our Rock Kids parents to allow their child to raise funds on their own.
Some creative ways that kids have done this in the past: doing chores, yard work, lemonade stands, and garage sales.

S.O.A.P.

Many reading plans use the acrostic S.O.A.P. as a way to get the most out of your daily devotional times. We encourage our entire Rock Church family to engage in this spiritual discipline together! Use these steps to take your reading to the next level:

Scripture: Take your time reading each chapter and allow God to speak to you. Look for a verse that particularly spoke to you and write in your journal.
Observation: What do you think God is saying to you in this scripture? Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and reveal Jesus to you. Paraphrase and write this scripture down in your own words in your journal.

Application: Personalize what you have read, by asking yourself how it applies to your life right now. Write how this scripture can apply to you today.
Prayer: This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this scripture, or it may be a greater insight on what He may be revealing to you. Remember, prayer is a two-way conversation, so be sure to listen to what God has to say and journal about it.
