Chowderfest Fun

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table at Chowderfest! We hope you enjoyed our "OH SO GOOD" New England Clam Chowder - a healthier, yet tasty recipe. It was a chilly day, but that didn't keep long lines forming throughout town.

The 19th year of Saratoga Chowderfest featured over 80 vendors, live music, family-friendly activities and a wide variety of chowders. This was The Wesley Community's first year taking part and all proceeds were donated to The Wesley Foundation. Visit the Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau site to see this year's winners and more.

Big crowds showed up for Chowderfest.

Erwin L. Levine Event Series

Erwin L. Levine Events are presented on a regular basis to The Wesley Community’s independent residents and are funded by The Wesley Foundation to honor the memory of its first president, Erwin L. Levine, PhD. The events include theatrical presentations, educational lectures, musical programs, and other presentations of interest to members of our senior community.

Park Ranger Eric Schnitzer

Our most recent event on February 15th was titled, "Brave and Gallant: African-American military men at Saratoga." This fascinating historical presentation was given by Eric Schnitzer, Park Ranger at Saratoga National Historical Park. The popular presentation covered African-American participation in the Revolutionary War and discussed specific soldier's extraordinary service and stories. Thank you to Ranger Schnitzer and everyone who attended the event!
