When I consider that 14-F has passed in spite of the vote of Los Ranchos Presbytery, it occurs to me that some of us are at least a little disappointed, perhaps deeply so. And some of us are at least a little relieved, perhaps even elated. More

OUR VISION IS TAKING SHAPE
Just a quick note from the Generative Catalyst Team to say that the five regional home gatherings of session representatives are going great. The meetings have been elegantly and abundantly hosted. We have found that just meeting together in homes with other elders has been a huge encouragement in and of itself. Elders have come prepared to share their answers to three questions regarding how God is at work in their respective congregations and in their local neighborhoods.
The GCT is grateful for the elders’ passion and insights, and looks forward to reflecting upon them in our April and May meetings. In June, we will bring what we are hearing to the Presbytery Council to begin focusing on a collective vision for this chapter of our life together as a Presbytery. There will also be two “Open Space” meetings at the September presbytery gathering to share what we are learning.
Thank you for participating in shaping God’s vision for Los Ranchos.
While our role as a GCT requires patience and an enormous capacity for listening, two things have already emerged in our work that are capturing our focus right now. More
