St. Mark Presbyterian Church has been certified as a Fair Trade Congregation by the Fair Trade Campaign. This campaign certifies towns, universities, churches and schools who meet three criteria:
- Incorporate Fair Trade education into your social teaching
- Commit to purchase Fair Trade Products when they are available
- Include Fair Trade items in events.
We will celebrate this accomplishment the weekend of January 23 and 24 at our worship services and with a table on the patio containing fair trade information as well as Fair Trade items and where to buy them.
