It’s been a great year! I've thoroughly enjoyed my return to the world of published authorship, and heartened by the response to Downfall. It’s been a real treat to get out and talk to so many of you about my favorite subject: books. I've visited bookstores and groups across the Twin Cities, and also ventured out to Rochester, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, and Madison. My final appearance of the year will be on Saturday, December 13th, at 11:00 at Barnes & Noble at Maplewood Mall, Maplewood, MN.
With the holidays coming up, a copy of Downfall makes a great gift for the book lover on your list. It’s available at Minnesota Barnes & Noble stores, and many metro area stores have autographed copies. You can also look at your local independent bookstore, and online stores.
A number of readers have asked about the availability of my first two books, Bound to Die and Poised to Kill. Unfortunately, the publisher of these titles no longer makes them available to bookstores. However, they’re both available at online stores, and I encourage you to check them out.
As the year closes, I'm hard at work on my next Pen Wilkinson novel, Windfall, which is tentatively slated for fall 2015 release.
I’m offering a special incentive to my readers. Anyone who signs up for my mailing list, or posts a review of one of my books online, will receive a PDF copy of my Hal Dwyer short story, Superior Bluffs. Dwyer is the hero of my second book, Posed to Kill. After you’ve signed up for the list or posted the review, send me an email, and I’ll attach a copy of the story to a return message.
As always, I encourage you to check out my website, www.brianlutterman.com, and my blog, Briefcase and Gun: Novel Reflections on Corporate Crime.
Have a safe and blessed holiday season.
