It's great to be back, after a ten-year hiatus from writing. The spring and summer have been a whirlwind,, beginning with the launch of Downfall in May, followed by signing events in Roseville, White Bear Lake, Minneapolis, Stillwater, and Maple Grove A big thanks to everybody who attended--it was great seeing you. I hope everyone will check out my revamped website, www.brianlutterman.com, designed by John Marcotte of Biznerds Creative.
The reception for Downfall has been heartening, led by two endorsements from the St. Paul Pioneer Press, as well as warm praise from Mystery Sequels, Mystery Reviews, White Bear lake Magazine, and I Love a Mystery. In interviews with the Omnimystery and Writing California websites, I went into a bit of my background, and talked about researching and writing Downfall.
I'm currently putting together my promotional schedule for the fall. I'll be doing a number of signings this fall, in Madison, WI, Des Moines, IA, Edina, MN, and others. See my website for details. In my "spare time," I'm working on my next book in the Pen Wilkinson series.
Downfall is available at Barnes & Noble stores in Minnesota, and at independent stores, including Lake Country Booksellers in White Bear Lake, Valley Bookseller in Stillwater, Once Upon a Crime in Minneapolis, and Eat My Words in Northeast Minneapolis. Online, order the book in paper or ebook format at Barnes and Noble.com, Amazon.com, and other online book sale sites.
Check out my blog, Briefcase and Gun: Novel Thoughts on Corporate Crime, located on my website.
Have a great autumn, and happy reading,
