July 2015 Market Recap
 
These are the dog days of summer... It's miserably hot. School just started. Fall can't come soon enough.

On the bright side, when else can can you enjoy luxury resorts and all of their amenities for a fraction of the typical prices? Right now. I highly encourage you to do so, if you can. Some of the best deals I've found are at The Fairmont Princess (great for families) & The Phoenician (great for everyone). Another deal I love is the $3 kids meals at Zinburger.

In real estate: We are back to a "Frenzied" Seller's Market (see the Cromford Report dials up above). Seller's are really still in the driver's seat. With a lack of inventory (READ my blog) and steady demand, this equates to prices steadily trending higher.

Rentals are also still hot, with rental rates still rising. I listed a home for lease in Arcadia at the end of July. Within 12 hours of hitting MLS, I had 3 calls. There were 2 tenants jockeying for it before it was leased & occupied in about 8 days at full price.

If you've been considering selling, we CAN time the market fairly accurately with very market-specific info. Ask my seller whose home we planned to renovate last summer with a target list date this spring. When the work was complete, we listed immediately, had multiple cash offers in 3 days, closing in about 30 days!
