Cromford Report Market Index
Old Man Winter arrived in Phoenix and he's angry! I don't know what happened to the beautiful, but brief weather we had in the fall. I went from sweating miserably to dropping freeze blankets on my freshly planted flowers. Sweaters are out and firewood is a necessity these days!

My favorite part of this cooler weather and the holidays is sitting by our outdoor fireplace with friends and sharing a good bottle of wine. As we wrap up the holidays (2016 is knocking!), Winter here is packed with festivals, football and tons of outdoor FUN (which starts within the next few weeks)! What's your favorite part of winter in Phoenix/Scottsdale??
Happy Holidays from the Swansons

In real estate: After my last recap, we saw a market shift and then stability again. There aren't quite as many new listings coming to market as a month or so ago. Some Buyers can breathe a sigh of relief with a new crop of listings and a new wave of buyer demand has sellers quite pleased too. I think 2016 should off start well. Here's a recap of October/November 2015:

  • How TRID (AKA "Know Before You Owe" Rule) affected the market
  • What happened to the "cooling trend" in the overall market
  • Trends in mortgage interest rates
  • Noteworthy market observations
  • Advice for Buyers & Sellers
