Recovering from the Sir Ivan Fire
Landholders are still recovering from the Sir Ivan bushfire that blazed through the west of our region in February, causing an estimated loss of agricultural productivity of $97 million. Read more

A new approach to weed management
The Biosecurity Act 2015 will soon supersede the Noxious Weeds Act 1997, bringing greater flexibility and improved management of weeds across NSW. Read more
Training up to work on Country
Seven Indigenous students are about to complete a specially tailored Conservation Land Management Diploma to qualify them to work on Country in the lower Hunter.
