2014 Nantucket Race Week has arrived.  We can't think of a better venue to watch this annual event than right here on the waterfront at CRU.

This summer seems to be flying by so be sure to come get your CRU fix to savor all of the best of the season from farm tomatoes and corn to local tuna, lobster and fluke. CRUise down the wharf to toast these gorgeous summer day, sample our award-winning brunch and indulge in the most expansive raw bar on island. Always serving resort hours, 11am to 11pm seven days of week with both cocktail bars open until 1am.

James Beard Foundation

Chefs & Champagne®

Chef Erin Zircher and Master Shucker Rocco went island hopping to bring a taste of Nantucket to the Hamptons for this year's James Beard Foundation Chefs & Champagne.  Over 1,000 guests indulged in CRU lobster cocktail along with small plates from 30 chefs on a stunning July night.

We had so much fun taking photos of our crew for the "Crew of Cru" newsletter issue that we decided to use those photos and create our own fictitious magazine covers. Of course, we think our staff rocks so much they belong on the cover of magazine. And here goes the first one!

Looking for something to spice up your next summer soiree?  Try the Mother of Dragons, this year's instant CRU classic, from Cocktail Director, Matt McGarry.

MOTHER OF DRAGONS

2 oz Pineapple/Jalapeno infused 10 Cane Rum
.5oz  Kalamansi (can substitute honey & agave nectar simple syrup)
.5oz Strawberry puree
.5oz Pavan liquer
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Fresh lime zest
Grilled pineapple cube

Pour first 5 ingredients into shaker over ice.  Shake vigorously and strain as you pour into chilled coupe glass.  Zest fresh lime over the top and garnish with skewered grilled pineapple chunk
