Kia ora koutou katoa!
We are delighted to have been able to celebrate with all the students who have earnt an Achieved or Merit for their projects so far this year.
Each student who has worked hard to gain these levels was given a leaf, with their name on it, to place on our tree in the entrance way. These are on display if you are going past we would love for you to come in and have a look. Every child with a leaf should be very proud of their work, to gain a leaf should be a goal for every student for each project.
We are now well into Project 5 and students are making good progress. Please talk to them about what they have achieved so far.
Ask them to show you their work and encourage them to complete tasks at home.
We had a very successful swimming and Table Tennis session on Wednesday, great to see all the Y7 and 8's with swimming gear. Please remember that Y9 and 10 require PE gear as normal on Wednesday.
Please keep encouraging your students to bring a water bottle to school as staying hydrated it so important for learning and we want everyone to stay healthy using their own water bottles rather than sharing glasses in the kitchen.
We will be having a staff Professional Development afternoon on Friday 2nd August so please be aware that we will be finishing school at 2:45pm. Please make transport arrange where necessary.
It was fantastic to see Poppi who stopped by to visit on Monday and Tuesday. Poppi was our Student leader in 2018 and moved to Ireland at the end of the year to further her studies. We love to catch up with past students.

Please ensure students are not dropped off outside of school on Remuera Road. Legally we are not able to treat this as a drop off area and it is not safe on such a busy road.
Dilworth Ave is the designated drop off area.
Have a wonderful week!
