We’ll Pay You to Help Others!
Our joint food drive sponsored by Ground Maintenance Services with 10 other local businesses to help the New Berlin Food Pantry ends Saturday. We’ve sweetened the pot as a late incentive to really put this effort over the top.
Through Saturday, we’ll take $1 off any service at Movin’ and Lubin’ for each non-perishable food item you bring to our New Berlin location (2350 S. Commerce Drive) or Milwaukee (1595 S. 38th St).
Bring in five items and receive $5 off. Ten items gets you $10 off, 20 items for $20 off, and so on. The maximum is 100 items (but can you really carry that much?).
We’re also collecting diapers, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items. You might not think about it, but these goods can stretch already-thin family budgets. Again, $1 off for each item through Saturday.
Our goal is to fill a dump truck owned by Grounds Maintenance Services, one of our partner businesses, with food and other items. Join us! As we approach the “season of eating,” let’s not forget about our neighbors who simply don’t have enough to eat, period.
Who Says Our Owner isn’t Bubbly?
Jared Bell, co-owner of Movin’ and Lubin’ along with Keith Synowicz, was recently featured as “Bubbler Executive of the Week” by Milwaukee BizTimes. He talked about the company’s growth plans, how its “People” relationship model benefits both customers and employees, and how some callers have REALLY misunderstood the Movin’ and Lubin’ name.
