CityConversation: The Changing Landscape of Food & Beverage in Manchester
Date: Thursday 5 November Time: 7pm - 9pm Our November CityConversation will focus on the changing food & beverage scene in Manchester, exploring what makes the city a great place for restaurants and why several brands with establishments currently only in London and The South are moving to Manchester. We’ll also look at how the city views such things as ethical F&B, training, recruitment and costumer service.

CitySession: Manchester Transport Update with Network Rail and Metrolink
Date: Wednesday 25 November 2015 Time: 8am-10am Join CityCo this November for a special transport update from Network Rail and Metrolink. The event will not only feature the latest 2CC and Metrolink developments but give you a first insight into the Ordsall Chord project from Network Rail and how that will both change and benefit transport in Manchester.
CitySession: Quays Showcase with special guest Julia Fawcett OBE, Chair of Quays Visitor Destination Group
Date: Thursday 15 October Time: 6pm - 8pm CityCo members are invited to join us to hear about the development of Salford Quays and Trafford visitor destinations, we’ll look at the future of the Quays and how the destinations located in and around are working together to make it a key tourist attraction. Julia Fawcett OBE, Chair of the Quays Visitor Destination Group and Chief Executive of The Lowry will be in conversation with Manchester based Journalist, Helen Nugent.
CitySession: Dame Nancy Rothwell in conversation with Rowena Burns
Date: Wednesday 28 October Time: 6pm - 8pm In this special CitySession, Dame Nancy Rothwell, President and Vice-Chancellor of University of Manchester, will be in conversation with Rowena Burns, Chief Executive at MSP. Professor Rothwell will be talking about science in Manchester and the valuable contributions that the University of Manchester has made to Manchester’s economy, business community and knowledge exploration in the city.
