Join Us As We Continue

Our New Sermon Series!
This summer, each of the 12 minor prophets in the Bible will play a different role on our minor league baseball team and will be in different positions on the field. Who will be where? We already know where Hosea and Joel will be, but you’ll have to join us each Sunday this summer to find out where the rest will be!

This week we’ll be delving into Amos, our third minor prophet, and we invite you to get ready for a message from Amos 2:4-8 & 5:14-15 entitled, “Three Strikes and You're Out?”

In baseball, when we get three strikes, we're out.
But is that the case with us in our relationship with God? Was it the case for the people of Israel?

Whether in-person or on YouTube,
we look forward to seeing you at 11:15am Sunday!

These are tumultuous times. Chaos dots our history, including those days of Jesus' earthly life. What are the lessons we can take from his teaching, especially found in Luke 13? The chapter opens and closes with a community trying to make sense of and navigate their way through times of turmoil and tragedy. What can be learned as we discover what type of community we can build together?

Join us and other United Methodists from across our conference for what will be an engaging and transformative discipleship opportunity.

What's Going on over

at Montville UMC?
TOMORROW, on Saturday, June 25th, our friends over at Montville UMC are having their Vintage Trunk Treasures Sale from 9am to 4pm.
Jesus once said, “Where your treasure is, there your trunk will be also." Oh wait! I think we got that passage from Matthew 6:21 mixed up.

Either way, they’ll have lots of treasures in trunks at Montville UMC this Saturday from 9am to 4pm. It looks like it'll be a beautiful day, and with 10 vendors already confirmed, there will certainly be a lot to peruse!

Hungry to Whole

Inspired by “The Daniel Plan” book and John Wesley’s Holy Clubs, Hungry to Whole is grounded in Psalm 107:9 – “God satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things” (NIV). Our prayer is that those who come hungry each week would leave whole in more than one way.

Join us for our next Dinner Gathering (potluck style)
Wednesday, June 29th, 6:30-8:00pm at MUMC. It'll be our last one before taking a two-month break for the rest of the summer.

Wednesday Bible Study

Join us every Wednesday at 11am in the narthex. We've started a new study on the book of Ruth!
