Hello Friends! Thank you for subscribing to Wilde Type and The Table of Contents, either here or at my drip platform, where I'll post this newsletter once a month (*ish). You'll get an email when it's posted, and it will function like a monthly net of things done and used and liked, which will be pretty cool, long term. (There's more content at Drip & Patreon for various membership levels. If you have questions, shoot me a message.)

Ahhh friends, February was tough -- cold and much longer than it should be and also far too short for the work I needed to do in it! I'm in the process of promoting two books -- the middle grade, Riverland, and the adult novella The Fire Opal Mechanism, as well as the Serial Box project Ninth Step Station. I'm also finishing a new novel, two novellas, several major essays, and another couple of collaborative projects. Plus preparing to teach or guest lecture at Futurescapes, Odyssey, Rutgers Writers' Conference, and Western Colorado MFA. Of *course* this is the time when my brain starts dropping new ideas all over the place like crocuses.
Come on, brain. Let's finish the work.

March is already upon us -- I'll be appearing at ICFA in Orlando in mid-March... And then so many things happen. The launch party for Riverland is at Doylestown Bookshop on April 9, 7pm; please do come if you can! You can also preorder signed, personalized copies direct from Doylestown Bookshop and be entered for so many swag possibilities

Afterwards (you're among the first to see my public appearance schedule -- not everything's finalized yet though): Futurescapes (April 11-14); King's English Bookstore in Salt Lake City with Jessica Day George and Dan Wells (April 15); The Tattered Cover in Aspen Grove Colorado (April 17); Barnes & Noble, Fairless Hills, PA (April 24); Takoma Park Public Library with Politics & Prose (April 25); Radnor Public Library with Main Point Books, (May 2); Queen's College lecture (May 9); Kickstarter conference (May 11); Nebula Weekend, May (17-20); Rutgers Writers Conference, (May 29-June 1); Odyssey Workshop (June 6-7 - registration ends April 1!). And more to come.

I look forward to seeing you, in person or in print, at any point along the journey.

OK Ready? Let's do this. Here's the table of contents for the month of February:
