Well hello there Timebank members, friends, followers and supporters!

We are certainly enjoying some beautiful weather at the moment, the sunshine never fails to lift the mood.

We have had lots of reasons to be happy lately, one of which is the creation of our
Did you notice it? Scroll up and take another look ... what do you think??

We LOVE it!

It feels fresh and fun and feel it is a little more eye catching that the last one, we hope you feel the same.

Something else that has brought a smile to our faces here at Timebank South West was being able to go ahead with taking Timebank on tour around Plymouth.
Take a look below to see some of our favourite photo's from the week and hear what people have had to say about #TBOT ...
The wonderous Winnie!
We would like to start with a big thank you to Whitleigh Big Local for the use of Winnie to take Timebank on Tour. The van was a truly wonderful space, allowing us to invite people on board to shelter from the rain, enjoy a hot drink together and also provide a shaded area from the sunshine later in the week!
Timebank on Tour took to the roads on June 21st with the first stop in North Prospect. Parked up on Ham Drive. We were visited by a few passers by and the lovely Karen from The Conscious Sisters.

Considering the weather we were off to a good start!

Our next stop was in Efford, we were very kindly allowed to park in the car park of St Pauls Church, just off Torridge Way and were pleased to be able to speak to a few of the locals who were out braving the typical Plymouth wet weather. Outreach workers Sally and Zoe were not put off by the rain though, they had the kettle on and were joined by members Amanda and Tony for a cuppa and also went out to hand out goodie bags as parents and carers were out on the school run.
Goodies, Goodies , Goodies, Goodies ...

Time to chat

What could you do?
Our second stop was in Barne Barton on the morning of Tuesday June 22nd and outside Devonport Live Cafe in the afternoon. While chatting with our members we asked them to tell us about the skills they have to share and also let us know what skills they would like to learn, A lovely oportunity to start planning for the future, when we are all able to get together again and enjoy planned activities with no limit on numbers who can attend.
Getting together and meeting new people

Top right is Admin and Communications worker Kimberley displaying her hand painted pebble in the garden of Union Corner where we visited on Wednesday afternoon. Kimberley is relatively new to Timebank and so was very eager to get out and about to meet some of our members, she said:
"It was great to finally be able to get out and meet some of our amazing members - all members were really enthusiastic about Timebank on tour and Timebank its self. Everyone was very friendly and had no fear of talking to me and making me feel welcome to their group.

All outreach workers were very involved and popular with all the members, they couldn't do enough to get them involved in some task or activity. Whilst promoting the benefits and joys of Timebank.

We had lots of cups of tea, lots of stories and lots of laughs.

I am so glad i had the chance to be involved to meet these amazing people.

Well done Timebank Team!!"

On Thursday 24th June we had our final day on tour where we could be found in Ernesettle and Honicknowle. Above you can see Outreach worker and Timebank Director - Liza talking to a passer by who was interested in finding out more about Timebank.
We thoroughly enjoyed getting out and about in Plymouth this week and we hope you enjoyed seeing us too!
If you missed us you can find out where we are each week here, we would love to see you so just drop us an email or give Kimberley a call to find out more.
We really enjoyed getting out for the week and meeting new people as well as catching up with current members. Timebank on Tour has given us the drive (pun intended) we need to start focussing on a brighter, skill-swap filled future with all of our members.

Thank you to all of you for your help and support!

From your Timebank Team -

Liza, Sally, Zoe, and Kimberley.
