A little sprinkle of recent projects.

Hullo there,
It's October. Whaaaaat?! I know I'm getting older when the months fly by like this and I've hardly got a grapple on the year and it's way over half way. But, kids are growing older, projects are getting done, and the air is getting brighter - and this newsletter turning into a great way for me to record these fleeting months!
I was asked by Ronald Macdonald House in Tamara to design an artwork for some of the wards - I was so honoured to be involved. With set colours and a strong design framework I came up with this abstract piece and I hope it brings some happiness to some of the ward spaces.

Portraits are picking up as we enter crazy season, and I've been busily working on some big projects - a new children's book, Erstwilder designs and just because I'm a glutton for punishment I'm doing an intense online children's book course this month. Sleep is overrated right? I've been designing cards for Nuovo for several years now and I love more than anything receiving samples! Below... some bambino cards I recently received, handy as lots of my friends are having babies this month and next!

On November 5th a group of talented illustrators are holding an exhibition at The Little Bookroom in Carlton North and creating an artwork based on "the book that got me" - you know that book you read as a kid that rattled your soul? I've been working on a poster design and so excited to be joining the amazing artists, and am going to start my piece tonight! If you are free, we would love you to add it to your diary.
Alrighty back to it, and I hope you enjoy your October. X
