Our Board has been working hard on developing a Covid-19 Safety Plan so our facilities can once again be used for small groups. We need to comply with all the NSW Government regulations regarding Covid-19, including social distancing, hygiene and record keeping. If your group or department would like to use the church facilities this is now an option. Please go to our church website, read through our Covid-19 Safety Plan and fill out the booking form. If you need assistance, please contact Fiona, Steve or Tony who can help you through the process. Our Board will work with you to ensure that we comply with government regulations. Don’t let your house size or location stop you from meeting together!

August 22 - EnditNow

August 22 is the enditnow® emphasis day in the Adventist church. Domestic violence is a pandemic we are battling across the world, which COVID-19 lockdowns only exacerbated, so we must speak and stand firm.
End It Now!

Youth, Women, Children, Health, Family, Education and Ministerial departments work together to emphasise that Adventists say NO to violence.
Glenn Townend, the SPD President, has recorded an excellent message supporting this work.  You can download this video (and other resources including Anthony Kent's sermon for the day) here.
Share Glenn's video, along with the hashtag #enditnow on social media - Add your voice and support.
May we be the most trusted church that lives what it preaches. It starts in our families and communities to show God’s agape love, sacrificial love for each other.
As you may have heard, at least 157 people lost their lives, more than 6,000 people were injured, and 300,000 left homeless in the Beirut explosion two weeks ago. This is a tragedy on top of the ongoing pandemic crisis.
The ADRA Refugee Education Project is coordinated from the Lebanon ADRA Office in Beirut, which was damaged in the explosion. This project is providing education and psychosocial support for Syrian refugee children, so they can keep up with classwork and look forward to a brighter future.
These children have already experienced more trauma than most people do in a lifetime. We cannot afford for their education to be disrupted more than it already has been. Please, donate now to ensure that these children can continue to receive an education.

Church Structure Review

The Church Structure Review process is at an exciting point in its journey and we would love for you to see what we are up to and to hear what you have to say.
Please join us at the official ‘Structure Review – Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia’ facebook page to learn more about the Church Structure Review and the existing structure of the church in this week’s communication.
Your Church Library
Please email if you would like  to organise a loan for you or your small group from your church library.  If you know of someone not receiving this newsletter who would enjoy a home delivery loan from the Church library, please discuss this option and email on their behalf. We would love to help.
Church Library Team.
Shane Hefren is out of work at the moment. However, he is a mechanic who has a mobile van, who can service or fix cars at people’s home. If anyone is in need of a good, reliable and honest motor mechanic, You can contact him on
0411 736 244, he would welcome the work especially during this challenging time.
Due to the current Covid-19 crisis; The Nominating committee is unable to sit to select the new church offices until after the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted; therefore we’re asking people to hold onto their current Church positions until further notice.

“Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:6,7 NLT
