Webinar:  Demystifying Entrepreneurship -
Starting an App Company, while Working 9-5

Presented by Prashant Kankaria

Part 1 of 3. Introduction- Vision & Idea
Going from saying “Ah! I had that same idea years ago, I wish I had done something about it!?!?” to saying “I have raised my first round of Angel funding!”.
Learn to generate ideas,  research and formulate a vision. The startup world is mystified and over personified. The working class perceives entrepreneurs to be some kind of super humans risking it all and winning against the odds. While it is true that running a business requires a lot of hard work, patience and perseverance, along with luck, starting an App business does not require quitting a 9-5 job. The truth is, unlike a decade ago, it has become very easy for anyone with an idea to start a business. The biggest challenge today to start a business is not the appetite to risk it “all”, but the willingness to start in the right direction.

New Publishing Partnership for the
Engineering Management Journal

ASEM, the Engineering Management Journal, and Taylor and Francis are very pleased to announce a new publishing partnership beginning in mid-2015.  The partnership is a positive step for both parties, creating more exposure and ease of discoverability for EMJ through Taylor & Francis’ extensive marketing, online and distribution networks, including full-text search functions, on Taylor & Francis Online.
In this partnership, ASEM will maintain leadership and editorial control, while collaborating with T&F in marketing, producing, publishing, distributing, and administering the online workflow and presence of EMJ.  This transition will greatly enhance the distribution, visibility, growth of EMJ and also provide additional key benefits for members and authors.
A more detailed list of benefits will follow next month, along with details of the transition.
