Version anglais:
To continue this adventure in biohacking well...
... We want to see if we can get our lab recognised as an association of public utility.
However, to this end, a few details in the charter of our association should be modified.
So, you are being invited to an
Extraordinary General Assembly meeting!
It will be held on
Wednesday, the 30th of September, 19:30-21.
Route de Crochy 20, 1024 Ecublens
The agenda for the meeting is available in our wiki.
Join us to vote (if you are a member) and to discuss the future of the association.
This meeting will also provide the opportunity to not only discuss projects and meet those who help our community keep going, but to have a nice apéro together...
of course, with physical distancing, as the pandemic is far from being over!
(Please bring your mask, just in case.)
If you would like to attend virtually, we will make a zoom link also. Please RSVP to hello(at)hackuarium(dot)ch in order to request this.
If you would like to come and vote, but simply can't, please fill in a procuration form and give it to another member.
If you would like to get info more regularly about Hackuarium, follow us on Twitter and Facebook. You can also find more details on our website (still with the out of date image of the space in Renens, sorry!) and our wiki (which is again alive and editable, thanks to Tatiana!)...
Above can be seen the latest terrarium in the lab, with ginger and moss, which has joined the others (from Vanessa and Tatiana)...
Open Science against Corona!
For CoronaDetective, we will do more runs in strip tubes with freeze-dried components from Guy (CRI-Paris) very soon!
Some Events Not to be Missed!
10 October 2020: All day Saturday, La Fête de la Science et la Journée de la Biodiversité @ Ferney Voltaire, with friends from Pangloss Labs.
21 October 2020: Wednesday 19:00-22:00 #OpenHackuarium evening to discuss progress on CoronaDetective (more on this JOGL project...)
We are still looking to see if we can fix the dates for the workshops canceled in 2020 (OpenFoodRepoDNA, the Micronuclei workshop, and the 2nd edition of the Kids' Club).
Maybe they will all be postponed to 2021 ...
Of course, our weekly meetups, the #OpenHackuarium evenings, are still on every Wednesday, from 19h, with virtual meetings also possible with zoom!
