My Secrets to Sustained Transformation

I don't consider myself an authority on anything other than myself and the transformative journey I've been committed to for the past five years. I've taken myself from a place of hopelessness to a solid place of awareness and peace and am dedicated to helping others get there too.

My life certainly isn't perfect or stress-free today. I experience daily struggles and stress related to work, family, and relationships. But because I'm committed to maintaining my health - body, mind, and spirit - the stress levels remain low, and even my once high-anxiety and trigger reactions are a thing of the past.

But I work at it. Every. Single. Day.

Before I get to the "secrets", I'd like to thank everyone who has walked this journey with me so far and those who just joined. I'd also like to thank you for your continued patience as I meticulously reorganize and redesign my website. My purpose and mission is to serve, support, collaborate, coach, facilitate, and partner with individuals interested in embarking on their own personal journey toward change and transformation.

I delight in witnessing others succeed, tap into their light, and reach their full potential. So while I continue to polish and fine-tune the new love. life. om. website, I'd like to share some of my not-so-secret secrets to overall health and well-being for you to consider trying and putting into practice:

1. Practice yoga and meditation daily. Check out my YouTube Channel list for beginner yoga, meditation and breath work videos to get you started.

2. Just say no to alcohol. If it's not a problem for you, it won't be a problem to quit. If it is a problem, remember that nothing is impossible. Check out Rethinking Drinking to learn why quitting for good is a great option for your health and well-being.

3. Journal. Spend time writing a mantra/affirmation each morning. Also, jot down negative or intrusive thoughts as they're happening. This helps to quickly assess and purge them before they become part of self-destructive behaviors and negative self-talk.

4. Be committed to self-care. Purchase a copy of Cheryl Richardson's, The Art of Extreme Self-Care. It's a staple on my bookshelf.

5. Go vegan! It's easy. Just follow meal plan and recipes provided in the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine's 21-Day Vegan Kickstart.

6. Be open to learning something new about practically anything and everything. Read the Top 10 Benefits of Lifelong Learning to discover why it's a gift that keeps on giving!

Namaste.
