Pilates Reminder
Don't forget, classes begin Tuesday, April 7, 2015.  If you haven't registered yet, you can sign-up on the North Vancouver Rec Centre website.   HINT: Sometimes you need to click on the close screen "x" and click on open again. 

Drop in Tickets - If you can't do a full session or if you want to do an extra class, you can buy Pilates drop in tickets at the front desk.  Email Patricia which class you're attending. The drop in ticket system has changed to an electronic system with drop in tickets to be purchased before each drop in class.  Take her your ticket. 

Wait list - If a class is full, get on the wait list.  Send me an email.  I'll try to move you in.

OFF            March 29 - April 6 (No classes for 1 week)
CLASSES   April 7-May 16 (Six week session) 
OFF            May 17- May 24 (No classes for 1 week)
CLASSES   May 25 - June 27 (Five week session) 
OFF            June 28 - July 5 (No classes for 1 week)
CLASSES   July 6 - August 8 (Five week session)
OFF            August 9 - September 6, 2015 (No classes for 4 weeks)
Exercise Tips - Bridge-Butt squeezes
Pilates first aid..    Side Lunges
For quick relief of low back stiffness and adductor and hip flexor tightness.  Great during long plane rides, car trips, excess sitting.
Take a large step sideways. Bend right knee, straighten left leg, lower your body, keep your back straight. Switch sides.  I like keeping my hands on the floor, in the centre then going right and left.
