What inspires me as I pursue this passion are the factors of my life that are often prevalent in the lives of other black people. I find it important for us to be able to tell our story through art because we are often so left out in mainstream work. I want to make a career out of this and become representation to other black kids so they grow up knowing that we can express ourselves through art as well.
