Cartoons are Back in Season at the Berkshire Museum! 

The Art of Warner Bros. Cartoons will open again for a limited time starting August 17. As part of the museum’s phased plan for a safe reopening, reservations are required and only one family unit will be permitted in the exhibition at one time. Animation fans off all ages will enjoy this special exhibition featuring production artwork including drawings, paintings, and transparent celluloids (a.k.a. “cels”) used to create some of Warner Studios’ classic cartoon shorts from their 1930 debut through the early 1960s alongside natural science and historical objects from the museum’s own collection. Reserve your ticket now to explore the history of the legendary Hollywood animation studio, uncover the creative process behind the scenes of each cartoon, trace the development of each iconic animated star, and learn step-by-step the techniques through which these classic toons were made. 

Your Safety is Our Priority

  • Our reservation system ensures that your family unit (up to 6 individuals who have been distancing together) will have exclusive access to both the Aquarium and The Art of Warner Bros. Cartoons during your visit. 

  • All staff and visitors ages 6+ are required to wear coverings over their nose and mouth while in the building. 

  • High-touch surfaces and restrooms are cleaned throughout the day and the museum closes to the public from 1 to 2 pm each day for an additional, thorough cleaning. 

  • All visitors are required to follow our COVID-19 Code of Conduct.
