|Message from the president
Dear colleagues and friends,
It is my great pleasure to invite you to read the winter edition of EFPT Newsletter, the first issue of 2017. I hope that you were all able to enjoy the festive season and had a fresh, pleasant start to the new year.
Like last year, EFPT will continue to support Working Groups’ projects and initiatives. Successful applications from last year that received an EFPT grant may serve as a source of inspiration for you! And don’t miss at the article by the Research Working Group: Ongoing projects are close to accomplishing bright results, and hopefully 2017 will bring room for new projects. We are very grateful to all who have contributed to EFPT that enabled us to provide this support.
In the upcoming months, early career psychiatrists representing EFPT will gather for many national and international events, including the WPA Interzonal Congress in Vilnius, the EPA Congress, the ESCAP Congress, and more. Get involved and enjoy the benefits of international collaboration - highly recommended.
I’d like to remind you that the applications for the EFPT Leadership and Professional Skills Course will remain open until January 31st. Moreover, in the upcoming weeks, the pre-registrations for the 25th EFPT Forum in Istanbul will be launched. The Local Organizing Committee is eagerly making the preparations, and look forward to welcome you. Follow our website and social media news to get the updates, and take a look at the article by our National Trainee Association to find out more about us.
I hope that you enjoy the read and look forward to seeing you in the near future!
EFPT President 2016-17
