Message from the President

Dear colleagues and friends,

I am pleased to bring you this Spring Edition of the EFPT Newsletter covering the plans and outcomes for this year.

I am delighted to announce that EFPT is providing institutional sponsorship to events related with psychiatry. We are collaborating with new associations, reaching out to medical students, and have been tackling one of the key demands from trainees: psychotherapy.

I invite you to follow and contribute to the EFPT Calendar, and I encourage you to apply to the EFPT Award for Excellence 2015.

Start preparing yourself for the upcoming EFPT Porto Forum 2015!

Best wishes,
Mariana Pinto da Costa
EFPT President
On behalf of the EFPT Board

Message from a Collaborator Organisation

Elias Karam and Hana Awil, medical students representing the International Federation for Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA), describe the exciting collaborations that are happening between IFMSA and EFPT.  In addition they outline the structure of IFMSA and how mental health is becoming a major focus for their organisation, with the real hope of closer collaboration with EFPT.
